“Health & Safety Guidelines”
Illness Policy – When to Keep Your Child Home
Please keep your child at home if they experience any of the following:
Fever of 101°F or higher
Vomiting or diarrhea (especially if ongoing or occurring together)
Unidentified rash
(A doctor’s note may be required before returning)Pink eye (conjunctivitis) with redness or discharge
(Children may return after 24 hours of prescribed treatment)Thick yellow or green nasal discharge, which may indicate infection
Head lice
(Children may return once all nits have been completely removed)Persistent sore throat
Returning to Care
Children may return to care once symptoms have improved and they are able to comfortably participate in daily activities.
